VP/Hexadecene Copolymer is an agent that improves the dispersion of sunscreen actives. This ingredient allows active sunscreen ingredients to bind to the skin and support protection from damaging UVB and UVA rays. We added it to the formulas of the Nutrient Day Cream SPF 30 and Nutrient Day Cream Tinted SPF 30 in early 2021. 

The resulting improvement in application and wear has a luxurious feel and is pill- and clump-resistant. This ingredient creates a safer, more effective and longer wearing sunscreen. 

VP/Hexadecene Copolymer is a safe, non-toxic, non-polluting ingredient that does not harm the land or marine environments.
